Things helps me actually love my life without fear of collapsing under the weight of a thousand tiny task cuts.
Havent been using very long but already finding it extremely helpful! Its easy to use - even setting up repeating tasks is easy. Like the iWatch connection too.
Thank god for this app. The new cloud syncing with Things Mac is a huge upgrade also. Much appreciated.
I need it to be scheduled by hours not by days.
I have used Omnifocus and others. I am more organized with Things. Be prepared for a learning curve but it is not too bad--not like Omnifocus.
This app has allowed me to condense all my systems in my life, all of my schedules, goals, projects etc...and more importantly, to execute them. Its as great as the reviews say, if not better. If you have ADHD, like I do, then using this app (making sure to use the cloud which is free) along with calendars and reminders can help you accomplish all of those things you thought you could never or might never be able to. Its that great, seriously. I love it so much.
If I could have just one app on my iPhone, this would be the one without question. Keep up the great work guys!
Tried and true. Ive sampled almost everything out there for task management and Things is superior. There are features in other apps that Ive liked but the overall experience just doesnt measure up to what Cultured Code has done here.
I have been waiting for years for Things to allow us to move more than one task at the same time. For example, I want to move eight items to "next". I have to move them or schedule them one at a time, which is super cumbersome on the iPhone version. Ive had to switch to another app.
It works ok but the price, for what it does, isnt worth it. Very basic. The Apple calendar works better. I purchased and downloaded it since it was listed as a top app...
Very good way of keeping track of my to-do lists, especially as I can create many lists in this app. As a new user, editing seems a little clunky but I expect Ill get the hang of it. Syncs well with my iPad.
I like the Daily view, but it takes so many button presses to accomplish common tasks. Adding multiple items is a chore. Figuring out what will show up in the next view vs today is confusing. The Apple Watch complication and Today view (with its ability to reorder items) are the only advantage of this app over other top competitors. In addition, it is much too expensive to get both iPhone and iPad versions.
and I love it. There are two things that would really make it 5-star perfect: 1. adding a way to EXPORT the logbook so I can have a hard copy of a accomplished tasks/dates for my records. And 2. PLEASE PLEASE: some button or option to Import all tasks from the scheduled list for tomorrow into TODAY. Please consider this!! I like to arrange the order of my day the night before, and Im literally every night, changing my iPhones clock in Settings to Tomorrow, checking each item, inputting into Today and then changing my clock back to the correct time. Yes. I said I do this every. night. Give a girl a break. While were on the subject, a "select all" button would be great, for when we get prompted to add scheduled tasks to today. Ticking 30-40 items a day to input gets tedious. Thank you!!!
Does similar to no longer existent "Nubi Do". The best there was.
"Things" manages present and future to-do items better than any other service Ive tried. So glad I stumbled across it. I like that I can choose to just do things "later" (by assigning them to a project titled "later") instead of like Wunderlist or the slew of other to do list apps that make you constantly push things off to "tomorrow."
Solid app and good companion to Things for Mac.
I love the application and I always used it in my Apple Watch. However, this update that said supports the watchOS 3 keep crashing on my watch and sometimes doesnt sync with the list on my iPhone
I just made a todo of a web page I wanted to read later. So cool. Thanks Things for making things easy to manage.
