The new major version is now close to 3 years late, and they keep adding useless features to the App. -> No location based tasks -> No custom notification by tasks to do -> No location based notifications -> No specific views of tasks Just to name a few missing features. Bugs: The widget view is constantly outdated. It doesnt refresh by itself even if you enables background usage in settings. So totally useless as a task list.

I think Things is a great list/productivity manager. The Watch App works well and organization has never been easier. The UI is sparse and simple, something that lends to the overall ease of use for Things. If you need a powerful task manager that is relatively easy to use, Things is the best way to go.

The large complication and the way it autopopulates and syncs SO FAST with the iPhone app is simply amazing. Even when reordering tasks, there zero delay. EXACTLY what I was looking for. Worth twice as much if you like to always see reminders of your top three to-dos. Helping me remember things and getting a lot more done!

Very intuitive! I use it for multiple projects and long form planning as well as day to day tasks.

Undoubtedly the best app to use for implementing the practices prescribed by David Allens Getting Things Done methodology.

Theres no two ways about it, a task manager that gives you more power than a simple list manager requires you to put work into it. If youre diligent, it can be a great tool. If youre lazy, its not going to make up for your shortcomings. Things works well if you build a system and stick with it. Its powerful and flexible enough to support most task and project management workflows. Ive tried most of the competitors, and I always come back to Things. Its clean, straightforward, and flexible. It works for me.

Its Simple, efficient and awesome. The projects category helps me track my jobs history and info.

Cloud sync works great w the desktop version.

I am a post it note using, list making ocd maniac, and this is my favorite to-do list/project app that Ive ever used. Worth it!!! Love that it syncs reminders so I can use Siri. I always think of stuff when Im driving! Update: got an Apple Watch and was so excited that Things has an Apple Watch version, however, they are not syncing up. When I check something off one or the other it doesnt update on the other device. Please update and fix for 5 stars again!

Do you need a solid, reliable, easy-to-use task management app? This is it. All of the people griping about it being stale in the other reviews are sorely misguided and should look for another app. The hack-y Siri integration workaround is great too; I can add a to-do right as I get it, then sort and tag it later.

Push sync is faster than any other GTD app out there. Consistently iterated. Yes things 3 was delayed. But it was delayed so they could modernize the app to iOS 9.

Ive tried quite a few apps,but this one is just so flued for me. The Mac version is awesome and this one syncs flawlessly. I only wish they had a Windows version or at least a Web interface. However for the Apple ecosystem this task manager rocks.

To-do lists are a dime a dozen, and they all are out of the gate but eventually fizzle, get bought out, or fade away. Cultured Code has been steadily whittling away and polishing this app for 10+ years, and it shows. Its one of the first, one of the best, and the one youll always come back to.

This app has potential to be a top task manager. Its always lacked better sorting by due date options within individual lists-currently can only sort in the next screen. This seems very disorderly-cant keep track of whats next. Also, repeating items are hidden until theyre due, and I would like to see them visible once the previous one is marked done. I hope they are close to Things 3 (which has been very long in waiting-they seem lost in their timeline trying to continually fix this outdated app). The one thing I would say is that this is the only task app that has nailed the quality in the cloud sync feature (and Ive tried many), and the rolling date picker-fantastic. I would be pleased if we saw an update that comes sooner than later, so until then, I will be moving to another app with full features for less money (2Do).

Im not afraid to give praise to a carefully crafted app. This one combines excellent practical design with a great workflow for increased productivity. I highly commend these developers for the high user experience that this app provides

I dont think there is anything you can do on the Mac version that you cant on the iPhone version. This app is as great as its OSX counterpart. The syncing is amazing and its just a great app. It helps me keep on track and isnt too complicated. Its a simple app that keeps life organized with exactly the right amount of complexity. Definitely worth $9.99!!!
